A is for alone

Alone in her thoughts, alone in her job, and worse alone in her life in this city.
As awful as most people would think that scenario, Addie was very content in her aloneness, at least for the time being.
Her days were full of reading scripts, editing, and rearranging scenes for various events; while her nights were spent quietly dreaming and working on her own project and dreaming of one day seeing her own production live on the stage. While this wasn't New York, she enjoyed the city life and for know the humming of a busy city outside her apartment window kept her company.

I know this content in aloneness. Similar to solitude, isn't it? A blessing rather than the cursed "lonely"... so grateful.

I am glad to be taking the #AtoZChallenge journey with you. I look forward to reading more!
